A 54 lb chair can be pretty cumbersome to transport, especially without help. Due to the lack of rear shock absorbers & perforated wheels, the ride quality may not be as smooth, particularly since most of the weight is supported by the rear wheels.

Travelling with the Travel Buggy was so easy as the airline (Air Transat) packaged it up in a container — free of charge — so it was available for us at the other end instantly. It is light and small enough to transport in a car, allowing my husband to be independent at the other end. He also takes the dog out for a walk with it. Plus great customer service.
